Frimage Image was the brainchild of professional photographers Tricia Shay and Steven Puetzer. The staff is made up of photographers as well, which means you have someone who knows what good printing and quality managed color is all about. In our custom lab we use state of the art equipment and the best calibration tools and color profiles available, and follow critical guidelines to offer the best metal prints on the market.

Sublimation printing using Chromaluxe aluminum is not like printing with an inkjet printer nor is it like direct printing onto the surface; it's an art, and like any art, it takes time to perfect. You can compare it to baking. Give 5 people the same ingredients and the same recipe, and chances are the final product will taste different from each person, depending on how they tweak it. We tested the metal print process for over a year, adjusting each step until we got our "recipe" just right. Not all labs take the time to do this, but we felt it was important to be able to offer our clients an outstanding product. We only use Chromaluxe brand HD panels and Sawgrass Pro IQ sublimation inks.
